Crimson Colors has a long standing tradition of school and team pride.  In the fall, we perform at assemblies and pep rallies, in the Homecoming parade, and on the sideline during the games.  At halftime, we join the Bronco Marching Band on the field to perform our marching competition show.  We travel to 3 competitions on Saturdays each fall to compete against other bands and receive judges critiques which we use to improve prior to the next competition.  Tryouts for the fall season are in early May each spring.  We welcome all grade levels!  No prior dance experience is needed.

We will have 2 teams.

Pep Team:  This team is for anyone who cannot make the time commitment or financial commitment that it requires to be on the Field team.  Or anyone who likes the idea of performing but doesn't want the pressure of competing.  The Pep Team will perform at all home football games, assemblies, the homecoming parade, and any other opportunities deemed necessary by the staff/administration.  If the football team goes to the State Championship, we do travel with the team and perform during the game.  The time commitment for this team is every Tuesday night from the first week of June through July 16 (no camp the week of July 4).  Colorguard camp for 2024 is July 22-26.  Then once school starts and we are preparing for the first home football game, we will have you attend a Tues night, Wed night, or Thurs night practice so that we can include you in the pregame formations.  During the season there may be other random practices we would like you to attend so you can learn new work or prepare for a performance, but we do our best to give plenty of advance notice.

Field Team:  This is our competition team that performs the halftime show at football games with the marching band.  We also travel on Saturdays throughout the fall to compete against other bands.  This team has the same required practices as listed above all summer, but will also have band camp July 29-Aug 2 from 2:00-9:00, and Aug 5-9 from 6:00-9:00 and then we transition to Tues/Thurs nights with the marching band from 6:00-9:00, and Wednesday night guard only sectionals from 6:00-8:30.  Everyone who is on the field team is also on the pep team.
